Sach Analytics Ltd is a fast‑growing outsourcing firm supporting a UK‑based criminal law practice. We are seeking a highly capable and forward‑thinking IT Executive / IT Operations Lead to take ownership of day‑to‑day IT operations, modern workplace systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and end‑user support across Sri Lanka and the UK.
 

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional ready to step into a leadership-focused position while remaining hands‑on in support, systems management, AI‑driven digital tools, and operational improvements.
 

Role Overview
 

The IT Executive / IT Operations Lead will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s IT systems, leading support operations, administering Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services, maintaining cybersecurity, and supporting ongoing technology upgrades and digital transformation projects. The role also supports the firm’s AI and business intelligence initiatives.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

IT Support & Operations

  • Lead day‑to‑day IT support activities (Tier 1–3) across Sri Lanka and the UK.

  • Provide both onsite and remote technical support using service desk tools, remote support utilities, and collaborative platforms.

  • Manage end‑user devices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android using Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.

  • Maintain and optimise IT service processes, documentation, and SOPs. Cloud & Modern Workplace Administration

  • Oversee Microsoft 365 administration including Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and compliance features.

  • Manage identity and access control, device compliance, and automation via Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, and cloud policies.

  • Support Azure cloud workloads including virtual machines, storage, networking, and monitoring. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts through Defender for Endpoint, Sentinel, or similar cybersecurity platforms.

  • Implement and maintain MFA, Conditional Access, Zero‑Trust frameworks, DLP policies, and regular security audits.

  • Ensure compliance with UK and Sri Lankan data protection requirements relevant to legal services.Network, Hardware & Systems

  • Configure and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, SD‑WAN, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, or similar).

  • Manage servers, NAS devices, VoIP systems, and enterprise‑grade Wi‑Fi.

  • Oversee IT hardware lifecycle including procurement, configuration, rollout, and retirement.Beneficial - AI, Automation & Business Intelligence

  • Support and collaborate with teams developing AI‑driven tools to improve legal workflows and operational efficiency.

  • Maintain dashboards and BI solutions using platforms such as Power BI or Qlik Sense.

  • Build workflow automations using Power Automate, scripting, or low-code tools. Leadership, Coordination & Projects.

  • Act as the operational lead for IT, delivering small-to-medium technology projects.

  • Coordinate with UK partners to align IT systems and operations globally.

  • Provide training sessions to staff on digital tools, cybersecurity awareness, and productivity technologies.

  • Produce clear documentation for systems, guidelines, and troubleshooting processes.

     

Required Skills & Qualifications
 

  • 2–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations roles.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, and modern device management.

  • Solid understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN), firewalls, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.

  • Practical experience in Windows Server (on‑prem or hybrid), Azure cloud services, and identity management.

  • Hands‑on experience with cybersecurity tools, SIEM dashboards, and endpoint protection.

  • Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, and business intelligence systems.

  • Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and attention to detail.
